SQL Database Commands

Hello and welcome to one of the hardest things you will do on this game.. SQL Database hacking..

First off here is your commands you will need;

DATABASE

sql host_ip host_port - connects to an sql server.
show tables - Shows tables of SQL Database
select * from users; - shows users.
delete from TABLE where COLUMN = "value"; deletes from Column

Second, this is some confusing stuff but its not hard once you have done this over 100x.. SQL on this game is the same as in the real world, so anyone whos done sql before should know the basic commands which is all you need for this game, basic commands. First off we have the host_ip host_port, as with everything nmap dat shi and see what open ports we got waiting for us. Oh look open port 25 (just kidding its 24 see what I did there). So we got our victim, 255.18.09.222 with open port 24, all we gotta do is show the tables now so, "show tables" this will (for examples) come up with users, or whatever that comes up users is my example. So we got the table of users now we gotta find out whats inside users table, so we do," select * from users; "this will pop up with the users inside table users. Then if you wanna delete you type in,"delete from table where column = "username"<=== this is where you input a username from the users table and boom, deleted.

That is all for SQL Database, it is not so hard when you get used to it. I hope this helped anyone who didn't know what was up.
Hello once again, and welcome to the next Commands for Secret Republic.

In this next article we will be talking about the Mail Commands. These aren't hard to remember but very important when looking at emails and needing to get something done in a hurry as these missions are timed. Here is the list of Mail Commands and there usages;

MAIL

smtp ip port - Connect to mail server ip:port.
get - gets the emails on the server.
read ID - Reads the emails on said ID.
delete ID - deletes email of said ID.
forward id email - Forwards an email. (my email is [email protected]).

As you can see there are 5 commands, it is not hard to crack the sql server either. Here are the steps;

Step 1 Nmap dat shi.
Step 2 get emails
Step 3 read ID of mail or decrypt it using, "decrypt filename" within the walkthrough.
Step 4 Do whatever mission tells you to do next. (most likely delete email or forward it to yourself)
Step 5 Profit!

As you can see it is not hard to do anything with the mail service as its simple.

Thank you for reading this article. I will be here all week. Please don't be afraid to read the other walkthroughs;

Welcome back to my articles on commands.. In the last article we talked about the General use commands, thats fine and dandy but were on a hacking game I bet your wanting to know how to hack someone. This is not hard and most the time you get an ip to hack.. Now in the beginning missions they give you ip:port but for the next ones after you get confused and need to crack emails and crack ip and ports, this is not hard as all you have to do most the time is logout, then ALWAYS nmap your ip, it doesnt matter if it says the port just nmap it anyways and then use the port and crack into it doing, "crack 255.84.8.90 25" (crack ip port). Then connect to it, which would be, if its a mail server"smtp ip port", if its a normal server its, "ssh ip port". Then do whatever the mission tells you to do.

Hope you enjoyed my informational guide on Networking.
As your all aware there is a lack of helping for commands.. I am here to help ease your problems and teach you how to use each and every command available on this game.

The neat thing about this game is that it uses Linux commands, so anyone who know Linux as a language will have a really easy time learning commands here..

Here is a list of the General Commands such as file use, deletion and decryption.

rm filename - Deletes File
cat filename - Read a file
decrypt filename - Decrypt a file.
run filename - Runs a file.
ps - Process list
kill processname - Kills a process.

As you can see not that many and shouldn't be hard to remember. You want to learn through building blocks, one thing at a time.

- Next article will be dealing with the NETWORK side of commands. (a little bit more confusing.
