My first day (Well alright it's 3am but heck)

So my first day playing this game...

Well, it all started in the way most stories do: With a random dude browsing youtube for Assassin's creed fan films, which lead to watch_dogs fan films...then hacking simulator games on my phone...then finally here. Wow I need to get out more.

But I'm getting sidetracked.

Back to the main subject.

So I ended up here and played the tutorial and fell in love with the concept of this game, and heck, I haven't really sat down and played a pc mmo since Runescape so I decided to give this a whack. Now immediately I realized a crucial flaw in this choice:

I am a horribly slow at typing.

That said the missions I've played so far are simple enough to grasp and the website is easy enough to navigate, and come on, you get to be a hacker. What nerd wouldn't love something like this? Now all the Initial awesomeness aside, One thing confuses me.

The skill tree.

Now I get that some things are a bit obvious such as firewall cracking and network sniffing, but linux? No offence to the creator of this quirky game here but while I'd like to think of myself as an intelligent human being, I can barely fix my internet connection by myself on a good day. I have no idea what half this stuff means, so like, if I may, try putting a brief description of the skill and what it entails when you move your cursor over it, like a dropbox or something.

Criticism aside, on with the page.

So my overall view of this odd little gem:

Analytical and speedy gameplay: You need to be a quick thinker, and even quicker at typing to play this game on a high level. And even if you suck, jut like in halo multiplayer, it's still fun.

Living the dream: Just like most mmo's you get to live as some-one in a world you'd never see in real life, but rather then a sword-wielding knight or a laser pistol-toting alien, you get to be a hacker. Think something like a more technical aspect of Watch_Dogs but in a dystopian universe. Yeah. It's that cool

The possibilities are endless: Since this game is (To my current knowledge) still in it's beginning stages, there's plenty of time for things to be made better and even better stuff to be added. If I'm completely wrong and this has been out for like, years and I only found it today...ignore my previous statement, because I'm a misinformed git.

That's all for everyone, goodnight, sleep well, and dream of large women.

The Ant: An introduction, cudos if you get it

So..........Welcome to my little project. I'll put up an entry for each day I play and leave in each:

Observations about the game

Some of the more interesting interactions I've had with other players

Odd seemingly random epic/funny events during my gameplay

And lastly, constructive, but polity put, criticism.

Now then, let's embark on this rather unexpected journey shall we?
